Get off facebook, BE A MAN – Paul Washer

Hey all!

I thought this was worth passing on.

God bless and veritas supra omnis!

  1. I am sure you saw this, but I found Jacob’s thoughts on the matter rather relevant. I don’t think he is disagreeing with Mr.Washer since the reasoning he was presenting was not exactly “acting like a little girl”. 😛

Anyhow in case you or any of your readers had not seen that I thought I would pass it along.

  2. I’m off… are you?

By the way, I’m totally not a man. 😛

  3. Felicity: I’m not off exactly, and I think you are probably exempt from his exhortation for obvious reasons laid out in the title of the video. 😉

Hillary: I also appreciated Jacob’s thoughts, but like you I don’t think they are necessarily disagreeing. I appreciate Mr. Washer’s passion and believe he is very well grounded biblibally, but sometimes he doesn’t qualify what he says enough, like this time.

That said, the principle of the exhortation is still very true and very important for young people to take to heart. I know you agree with that because if you didn’t you wouldn’t have posted the same video on your blog. 🙂

The reality is that facebook is largely abused by it’s members, so there are many people who really do need to “get off” of FB. But, then, FB is merely used to illustrate a larger principle/point which should not be confined to FB.

Thanks for sharing Jacob’s thoughts, and thanks to Jacob for putting them out!
